This cover is Marie Claire India. Angelina's makeup is gorgeous in this shot. I am so used to seeing her with with more color on her lips that I find this matte nude lipstick refreshing on her. The subtle liner on the lips gives them definition and contour when they could so easily be washed out and flat.

We shot this cover at a beautiful home in the Malibu hills. The owner of the home also owned a pink Cadillac that once belonged to Marilyn Monroe. It was spectacular. That day I also got to meet Lucy Danziger, Editor-in-Chief of Self. I instantly loved her. I did her makeup for the shot with Jillian and I was thrilled she trusted me enough to do it. Meeting her was definitely a highlight for me.

Rock stars and super models have adorned their faces with lace for decades most recently Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Gisele Bundchen. In 1978, Grace Jones wore a lace face mask to the Disco Convention Banquet. This lace mask interpretation with Mary Kate and Ashley on the cover of Vogue's Best Dressed is exquisite.

This shoot for Women's Health with Anna Kournikova was so much fun. My direction from the editors was to keep the look light and pretty. Anna has a signature look of extended black eyeliner on top and bottom. On the tennis court she wears only sunscreen, eyeliner and mascara.
