Norway, the eco-chic country is where Restorsea, a line of natural skin care products, was born. The brand sponsored a press trip for beauty bloggers to give them a first-hand look at the origins for their naturally derived ingredients. So when I was invited to go on the trip I swapped my Jimmy Choo's for Uggs and packed my bags.

Recently, I had an opportunity to tour Norway. Specifically, Oslo and Bergen. I took this photo in Bergen where I visited a salmon farm. This is my favorite photo from my trip. I love the colors of the buildings in barn red, butter yellow and a pop of cobalt blue on the door.

Vegan cosmetics have become increasingly popular and the trend continues to thrive. The term “vegan” is not regulated. It usually refers to products that do not contain any animal products and they are “Cruelty Free”. However, cruelty free cosmetics are not the same as vegan. Cruelty free means that the products are not tested on animals but does not mean that they are free from animal products.

I can't believe July is nearly over. It's been such a busy month for me with lots of photo shoots, a website redesign, social events and a new niece. Now it's time for a little R&R. I am really looking forward to my road trip next week. I'll be hanging out in Mammoth at Convict Lake.
