Be Natural. Go Nude.
One of the perks of being a Green Makeup Expert is all the free beauty samples that come my way. Normally, I like to share…except, that is, when anything by Nude falls into my lap. Call me greedy, but Nude skincare products are so eco-cool I keep them all for myself!
London-based Irishman and Nude founder, Bryan Meehan, teemed with Bono’s wife, Ali Hewson, to pioneer ethical and organic skincare. During their research stage, they asked their friend, supermodel Christy Turlington, to personally test all their new products.
By using pre and probiotics in Nude’s anti-aging skincare, these advanced bioactives and probiotics become an impressive team producing amazing clinical results during skin testing.
Pre and Probiotics – Strengthen skin by defending against free radicals and aging irritations.
Milk Peptides – Boost collagen production and have shown to clinically reduce wrinkles.
Omegas – Work at the cellular level to hydrate and allow release of toxins that plumps skin.
Antioxidants – Superheroes of anti-aging that fight free radicals.
CoA10 – A skin regeneration antioxidant that also fights aging free radical damage.
Hyaluronic Acid – Heavy duty hydrator that plumps and firms skin to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
Nude is the first to admit that, although they try hard, they aren’t perfect when it comes to intelligent sustainability. They continue to seek the highest ethical standards in product and packaging like fair trade argan extract purchased from a women’s refuge in Morocco. Hibiscus Monoi is made from pure Tahitian monoi. Other products contain strong emollients such as cupuacu, buruti and juazerio from Brazil and manketti and baobab, from Africa.
Just as impressive, Nude packaging can be thrown on the compost pile rather than into a trash bin!
I give a couple of their superior products my eco-babe two thumbs up…
- Advanced Soothing Complex – This label should carry an addiction warning.
- Cleansing Facial Oil – May be the best cleanser—ever!
